Welcome to Team Tiara! Team Tiara is the charity running leg of Girls on the Run (GOTR). We are a team of athletes (male & female) who pursue individual goals, such as running a race or completing a triathlon, to raise money for local Girls on the Run (GOTR) councils that provide important character development programs for young girls. There are three "crown jewels" that make up Team Tiara:

• Health: We run in celebration of health! We are motivated to make a difference in the future of girls by introducing healthy habits and an active lifestyle!

• Girl Power: We run because it's fun! Our Team members run in "sporty" tiaras - which are an external symbol of the internal beauty we all possess. The tiaras remind us of the whimsical spirit that exists within each of us and caps off our image of being strong, healthy individuals who dare to make a difference. And trust us, no one received more cheers than a man in a tiara!

• Inspiration: we run to show what is possible. The experience of a Team Tiara athlete mirrors the experience of a girl in the GOTR program - both learn lessons about goal setting and achievement, perseverance, motivation, overcoming obstacles and inspiration. These athletes step across the finish line and experience a moment when their sense of what is possible becomes limitless!

HOW IT WORKS

• You can choose to participate in any race/triathlon of your choice

• Register online at www.girlsontherun.org/teamtiara

• Team Tiara members agree to pay a non-refundable $26.00 registration fee. This covers the cost of your t-shirt, singlet and other goodies. Then, ALL proceeds you raise will go directly to Girls on the Run!

• Participation in Team Tiara means that the runner/walker/triathlete agrees to raise a minimum of $262 for the GOTR council of their choice on or before thirty (30) days after completing the race, or be personally responsible for this amount.

• Registration for Team Tiara does not include registration to the actual race.  The member must still register for the event of their choice independently.

• Easy online sign-up process

• Team Tiara technical singlet upon registration

• Exclusive Team Tiara cotton t-shirt once fundraising minimum is reached
