Girls on the Run Greater Cincinnati is expanding its service territory to include Pendleton County. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program that teaches key life skills to girls in 3rd through 8th grade through dynamic discussions and fun games that creatively integrate running.

After experiencing a memorable first in our organization after 19 years of service, we are reaching out today to address last Saturday’s event cancellation. We received notes of support for which we are grateful, as well as feedback that we take seriously. All of the communications from this past weekend will help us grow stronger as an organization.

Girls on the Run Greater Cincinnati holds the safety of our participants as a top priority. We are aware of the potential for inclement weather and are doing everything we can to be prepared for such a situation. We have created a clear policy and system to keep all 5K day participants, spectators, and volunteers prepared and informed if such a situation arises.
